Occupy Rochester will join Band of Rebels and the Occupy Wall Street bus tour tomorrow for a protest outside the Wells Fargo building, 1200 Pittsford Victor Road, in Pittsford. The protest starts at noon. A car pool leaves Washington Square Park in Rochester at 11:45 a.m.
The protest, "Unoccupy the Prisons," will feature "activists exposing the private prison industry, survivors of the prison system sharing their testimonials, and our vision for prioritizing education, not incarceration," says a press release announcing tomorrow's event.
Wells Fargo was chosen for the protest, the press release says, because it is a "key funder to the prison industry."
