The Daniele family -- owners of the local upscale Italian establishment Mario's and its more casual counterpart, Bazil -- offer a year-round fresh seafood option to Rochester's restaurant scene. The menu features a wide range of seafood dishes, from lobster and king crab to elephant-trunk scallops (named for their size). Fresh-catch fish can be ordered grilled or pan-seared, plain or topped with a siggnature sauce, glaze, or rub. "Quick starters," homemade soups and sides, sandwiches, island-themed beverages, and desserts round out the menu. Because the restaurant orders only what it plans to use on a given day, with deliveries arriving daily from Boston Harbor, some of the more popular dishes might be sold out by the end of the night. Those interested in dining on lobster should probably arrive early.

This place is not very good at all!
I hae eaten seafood all over the country and this is by far one of the worst experiences I have had. We started out with Calamari as an app. it came out swimming in oil. We then had the lobster crab bisque , I must say this was a tasty creamy soup. I ordered a tenderloin and lobster tail as my dinner and my date had the snow crab legs. My dinner came with lightly sauteed summer squash, that was places on the plate with the rest of my meal, well as you may know, summer squash sheds a lot of water after it is cooked, so my chedder mashed potatos that were lack luster at best were now potato soup after the water from the squash blended with them. the lobster was split open and broiled bottom side up, om not quite sure what they did to that poor thing, but it was over cooked to the point that it was mushy , The tenderloin I had was done as I liked it and had nice flavor. Our server was pretty un attentive to us as she had a table of 6 and a few other tables, over seating a server really lends to guest complaints. I will not go back to this place, Bazils was poor, and so is this place, Mario, you really need to learn how to actually cook. the SHEEPLE in this town go to your place because they dont know any better, many more better places to enjoy very good food in rochester, this place is the pits and will be closed in a year

I am not giving this place any stars. And I agree with Mike. This is a place for the SHEEPLE of our city. Save yourself the aggravation and waste of money and choose one of the many other amazing eateries that Rochester has to offer. This place gave me a major stomache ache - the atmosphere was big box restaurant/chain style and just so-so service. The manager was partronizing in a bad way, too. All around horrible!
