At Henry B's, everything is a bit larger than life. The dining room is vast and open with a high ceiling and huge windows that open onto East Avenue, allowing you to enjoy the feeling of al fresco dining without the inconvenience of actually sitting outside. The portions are gigantic. Meant to be shared with your dining companions, each of the appetizers, salads, and entrees amply serves at least two diners and, in most cases, three. Enjoy tender, fresh-cut pasta; the gnocchi is pillowy and the ravioli fat and toothsome. Generous meat dishes are offered as well, such as 20-oz Bone-in Ribeye and stuffed center cut pork chops. A transplant from its original location in Seneca Falls, Henry B's can boast flawless service, even down to the curbside valet service.

I don't know when James Leach ate at Henry B's but his description does not match reality. We ate there last night and were very disappointed. The portions were small and prices very high for the quality, size and service. Small salads were $8 each. Rigatoni with an occasional chuck of chicken (pasta e polo) was $16 and a small thin piece of chicken parm with a cup of pasta was $20. Bill was $56 w/o tip. Rochester has many good Italian resaurants that give you an good value of quality, service and good portions..Henry B's is not one of them. I have heard that ownership changed over the past year and the results have not been good. Unfortunately, I got the news too late.

Had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant recently and order the black Angus filet. By far this was one of the best pieces of meat I have ever eaten anywhere. The service was wonderful and unlike the other review, I thought the value was exceptional. Would definately come back. Great restaurant!

I have been to this restaurant many times and am overwhelmed by how friendly and attentive everyone is. Not to mention the great food. I am cautious on saying too much because I like the intimacy of the location and don't want everyone to find out what I have about this restaurant. Call me selfish!!! oh well...

Great meal and excellent service. Very fair prices.I can't imagine what Roch has to complain about. Chef was glad to customize my order a bit . Portions were generous and delicious. This is not a Burger King Diner!!
