This new RIT-centric coffeeshop and music venue serves three meals a day, from a fun-to-read menu that includes items like the "fat-bottom girl" (a breakfast dish of eggs, peppers, onions, potatoes, and sausage), and the "not-so-ordinary morning" (an omelette stuffed with spinach, tomatoes, feta, and herbs). For lunch or dinner, choose from a variety of items like gourmet personal pizza called "stroll around the moon" (tomato, basil, and mozzarella cheese) or the "piece o' my heart" (artichoke hearts, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, kalamata olives and asiago cheese), among others. The menu also includes appetizers, fresh sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and six different gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, such as the "robots rock" which contains fig, prosciutto, escarole, and goat cheese. And all this isn't to forget the coffee...each cup has a name like "chocolate jerk" (a mocha) or "you're cold as ice" (an iced coffee). Lovin' Cup also has several beers on tap and in bottles, and a selection of wine. The place hosts live music several nights a week.
