The Owl House, situated in the former Atomic Eggplant location, offers a substantial number of vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well as options that include meat or fish. The dinner menu changes nightly, based on the availability of fresh produce, while the non-revolving menu offers snacks and starters like vegan mozzarella sticks (made with daiya cheese) and Moroccan smoked beef jerky, as well as salads and around a dozen sandwiches. For instance, "Matty's Moustache" features warm brie, red onions, baby arugula, and homemade Dijon mustard, while the "Big Licky" is braised pork shoulder, pickled onions, and caper slaw on an onion roll. The Owl House also offers a wide variety of craft beers (both draught and bottled) as well as wines and a creative list of cocktails, many of which are produce-driven or made from homemade syrups.

Not impressed, the food is mostly lunch fare. The service was awful (20 minutes wait for water or drinks), the buss boy threw a glass at someone in our party, the food was less than stellar. I went in with high hopes and once again, it was just attempts at gourmet. Our waitress was inappropriately dressed for what this restaurant seems to be attempting to put forward, and showed her trashy and obnoxious tattoos - one was a dinosaur. She was air headed and our food came out at different times missing different portions that would later come on plates crowding the small table. The seating was cramped but the atmosphere was exciting and lively.
Positive: The beer list was awesome and they knew a lot about the beers and alcohols that were on the menu. Some of the menu items sound delicious and inventive. The place would be a great idea for a lunch but not for dinner.

I have given the owl house two attempts and failed each time, I will not be going back, or advising anyone to go in the future.

I went to the Owl House for the first time in September. Since then I have continued to refer visitors to the area and friends who are looking for new place to eat almost every time the subject comes up. The food is delicious and well presented. The feel of the restaurant is cozy but not cramped. I love the seating choices, from regular indoors, upstairs and out back, you get a different experience each time.

Our server was prompt, polite and knew the menu without looking at it. She was well dressed and I liked her tattoos. If you are the kind of person looking for a delicious new place to eat, then the Owl House is a great find. The beer and cocktail list alone is worth going for not to mention the hot and cold sandwiches.

Only two things on the slightly negative side, the chairs out back aren't too comfortable for a long dinner and the patio is uneven so watch out and don't bump the table or you'll send a delicious martini flying. Also, the between lunch and dinner menu is only snacks and drinks so if you are trying to find a 4 o'clock lunch, look elsewhere.

I will keep going back to the Owl House AND referring friends. And I will ask for the dinosaur tattoo waitress.

Not impressed. Won't be back.

Don't go to this restauraunt with kids (or if you do not look in the mirror and see an uber-hip 20-something). We went to the Owl House for the second time with our children and we were approached by by the owner (?) midway through oru meal who in an obnoxious tone told us to please keep the children out of the way of his staff - one child had the gall to get up from the table to use the restroom!

The food was OK. Decend sandwich fare but nothing unique. Our dinners arrived at different times which made for an awkward meal.

This was actually our second attempt at the Owl House (we always give a local place a second try), Unfortunately, we will not be back and do not recommend this restaurant to others.

I did not enjoy the owl house. I ordered a drink called the smoke monster. Well.... lets just say my tongue is still having nightmares. I had to send it back. It was so horrible I could not even take a second sip. My sandwich had soggy bread. I was not a happy customer.
