This burrito spot has a limited menu and seating, but makes up for it with low prices and lots of flavor. Some of the items have a Cali spin, like the surf tacos featuring breaded shrimp, chipotle lime sour cream, and avocado. Others offer a more homespun edge, including the Monroe burrito, with no rice, extra beef, extra cheese, and hot sauce. For an appetizer, try the Southwest egg rolls or the Lucky 7-Layer Dip, with beef, re-fried beans, cheese, tomato, olives, sour cream, and jalapeno.

What sets this place apart from other taco joints are its fresh ingredients, slowly cooked beef and pork, and willingness to accommodate dietary restrictions. The food is delicious and served in generous affordable portions.
